Stratford Ridge is an upscale community in Laguna Hills, California offering luxury amenities, and close proximity to stores; restaurants, excellent education, and recreation.
This neighborhood was built in the late 1970s by Moreland Ehrlich. Today there are 260 homes that reflect Contemporary and Tudor architectural styles. There are ten floor plans featuring three to five bedrooms and 2,170 to 3,067 square feet of living space. These homes were built on large lots, and many have private pools. Stratford Ridge is comprised of quiet streets due to it’s reduced inflow of traffic.
Stratford Ridge is served by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. Assigned schools to this area include highly ranked Valencia Elementary School, La Paz Intermediate School, and Laguna Hills High School. There are several private schools available in Laguna Hills such as; St. Augustine Classical Academy, Christ Community Preschool, Pathway School, Inc., and New Vista School. Nearby colleges include Allied American University, Bold Program Biola University, Soka University, University of California Irvine, and Saddleback College.
Residents enjoy being so close to the beautiful parks of Laguna Hills like Mendocino Park, Gallup Park, Mandeville Park, and El Conejo Park. There are hiking trails, as well as picnic areas and playgrounds. The Laguna Niguel Regional Park is centered around the Sulphur Creek and offers many activities like volleyball, tennis, bicycling, jogging, and hiking.
Stanford Ridge is located off La Paz Road and is close to Moulton Parkway, the 5 Freeway, and the 73 Toll Road for easy commuting. Nearby shopping centers include the Aliso Viejo Town Center, Oakbrook Village Shopping Center, the Irvine Spectrum Center, and Rivera Plaza. The Laguna Hills Mall is going through major renovations and will reopen in 2017 with a 14-screen theater.
